Mrs. Nellie Worth came today from Hammond to visit with her sister, Mrs. Oscar Harlow. Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Seegrist and Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Seegrist were down from Tefft today. Mrs. Wm. Parks went to Lafayette today to visit a few days with her brother. The M. E. church, of Battle Ground, was destroyed by fire Saturday. Grant Wynegar who is the night ticket agent for the Monon at Lafayette spent Sunday and today with his wife and baby here. The Municipal Light and Water plant of Attica was destroyed by fire Saturday. The loss is placed at $60,000. * NOTICE TO PASTURE PATRONS.
