MEETING - ■ The directors of the Farmers Grain Co., of this city held a very important meeting of interest to farmers in the court house last Saturday afternoon. They voted to raise the price of corn from SI.OO to $1.05 for 75 lbs. of ear corn and 56 lbs. of shelled corn. Also to buy oats on a 3 cents margin. The state convention of Farmer Elevators and Co-operative Companies are to meet in Lafayette on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week and the board elected as their Secretary Charles W. Postill as the delegate to represent them at that convention. It was also ordered that a light be put over the scales. J. R. White, of Kokomo, went to Lafayette today. E. L.
