Mrs. Jesse Garriott and Mrs. Rita Kessinger, of Fair Oaks, were in Rensselaer Wednesday. Herbert L. Bozell and wife came down from Fair Oaks Wednesday. Mr. Bozell came down for the draft examination and was put in class 1. You can buy some splendid work horses of Fred Schultz at his sale on Monday, March 1, 1918. By that time spring work will be at hand. Mrs. Leo Mecklenburg, who underwent an operation for appendicitis at the Mercy hopsital in Gary is recovering very nicely. Mr. and Mrs. T. F. Naylor were in town yesterday, returning to their home at DeMotte Wednesday evening.
