“STALLING” BOXER IS BARRED

Wisconsin Boxing Commission Trying to Prevent Shamming by Withholding All of Purse. Boxers seeking “soft” matches had better look elsewhere than in Wisconsin rings. The state boxing commission, in a new edict to stamp out shamming. has ruled that any boxer 1 found guilty of “stalling” will not receive a penny of the purse. His share, instead, will be donated to charity. The rule will be Inserted in all future contracts signed by the bpxers.
