W. A. Lutes is spending the day in Lafayette. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Parker are spending the day in Chicago. Robert Bennett, after visiting S. Bell several days returned to his home in Met&ryville. - home of Mrs. Warner. Mr. Warner due today, after being home over Sunday with his parents. Mrs. W. H. Berry went to Lafayette to visit relatives. From there she goes to Gloster, Miss. J. A. Muster returned to Chicago after visiting over Sunday with his brother, Lou Muster. J. E. Roache, of Chatsworth, 111., is here to attend the funeral of Mrs. Wm. Traub. W. S. Stevenson a patient at the hospital returned to his home at Kersey today. ■ -

Mr. and Mrs. Art Hopkins and son are spending a few days at Monticello with ‘Mrs. Hopkins’ sister, Miss Sarah Ellis. 0 M. Quinlin left for Florida today, where he will join Mr. and Mrs. Joe Halligan. He expects to remain there until April. A good team and carriage will be sold at the Fidler sale east of town, February 19. One is a good 6 year old bay gelding, wt. 1100, sound, and the other a 9 year old black gelding, wt. 1450, sound; carriage is in good condition. This is property of Mrs. Violet Pollard.—Advt. Mamie Porter is visiting friends at Monon for the day. C. J. Stebbins has rented the K. T. Rhoades residence on College avenue and will move into the same on March 1. Mrs. Ross Porter left for Lafayette today for a few weeks visit with her sister, O. T. Bartee. Mr. and Mrs. Walter V. Porter have returned from Martinsville where they have been taking treatments at the sanitarium. Mrs. Porter is very much improved, but , Mf*. Porter does not think that he was /greatly benefitted. Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Milliron and Leslie*Clark left Sunday for Gloster, Miss. Mr. Milliron has an eighty acre farm near Gloster. Mr. Clark will return in about ten days, but Mr. and Mrs. Milliron may decide to remain in the south for several weeks. B. S. Fendig joined the party at Memphis, Tenn.
