MRS. MARY MATHENA PASSES AWAY.

Mrs. Mary Mathena the. aged mother of the Mathena brothers of this city passed away early Sunday morning. The deceased had lived in Rensselaer Toy IT long number of years, her husband having died here in 1896. She whs the mother of five living children, three of her sons living with her. They are: Ellis, Elmer and Earl. A fourth son, James lives in Cherokee, lowa. Her daughter is Mrs. Louis Muster. Mrs. Mathena had not been in good health for a year or more but had been seriously sick for the past two weeks. The deceased was born in Lafayette, June 22, 1840. The funeral service will be held at her late home on Cullen street, Rev. Charles W. Postill will be in charge. Interment will be in Weston cemetery by the side of her husband.
