A wreck on the Monon at some point north of Rensselaer delayed the Chicago train this morning, and the daily papers were not received here until about nine o’clock. Ham received a letter from their son, Clifford, Friday stating he was at Jefferson Barracks, St. Louis, to which place he was sent following his enlistment in the aviation service. Clifford is a ground man in this branch of the army and expects to be sent to North Carolina for schooling soon.
