Thirty Signed As Members of The Liberty Guard

Provisional Company, No. 1, Jasper County State Militia, is no more. Henceforth, Captain Leopold and his men will be members of the Liberty guard, a new organization, which will have the same duties that the state militia once performed. At the regular weekly meeting of the memhers of the com. pany held last night, thirty members signed the papers which made them members of the new organization.
