Another Accident At Fatal Crossing.
Ths railroad crossing at McKinley avenue was again the scene, of an "ccident today. This morniffg young Worth Johnon, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph T ohnson. of Barkley township, wa~ hit at the above crossing by a railroad speeder being driven by George Craig. Mr. Craig was acting as maintainer of signal in-the absence of John Adair who is now at the hos pital recovering from an operatior for appendicitis. Mr. Craig.’s speeder shot under the horse and the horse fell upon him, injuring his hip vefry severely. He was taken to the hospital, but was later taken to the office of. Dr. Washburn and an Xray picture was taken of the injury. He was then taken to his home in Monon on the 1:57 p. m. train. Worth Johnson who was driving the horse that was struck by the speeder was not injured but the shafts and one wheel of the buggy were badly broken, The horse was not injured.
