C., says: The invention relates to means for automatically operating the switches on railroads, Including street railroads and particularly relates to that type of switches adapted to be operated autonmtcally by trips provided on a car
or locomotive and arranged to depress switch-operating plungers in the tracks at the sides. The prime object is to provide means for locking the switch in any position t»-which it has been thrown. «
