Mrs. C. A. Gundy has returned from a weeks’ visit with her mother, Mrs. Lorinda. McGlinn, of Rensselaer. The funeral of Mrs. Nancy Goff was held- in the Christian church Sunday afternoon, Rev. Postill officiating. Born, Sunday, December 15th, to Mr. and Mrs. Bryant Pritchett, a son. ~ Lanty Joyner, formerly of Fair Oaks, but now of St. Cloud, Minn., whs here the last of the week. Mrs. A. M. Bringle is real poorly this week with rheumatism. Robert Goble and wife have rented rooms of Mrs. Wm. Warne and will probably remain here this winter. Mrs. Carl CdXPenter and daughter of Haskells, Ind., visited here over Sunday. Phillip Goff of Cisna Park, 111., and Henry Goff and wife of Wisconsin were here to attend the funeral of Mrs. F. M. Goff, Sunday. Mrs. Leslie Warne and children, visited a couple of days with the Clark family near Morocco last week. Mrs. F. R. Ewin visited relatives in Brook Friday. Mrs. Al Abell spent the week-end in Lafayette and Battleground.. Mrs. J. M. Allfen made a trip to Monon, Tuesday to see the doctor. Albert Cox, who enlisted in the aviation corps is now at Newport, Kentucky. Mrs. Joe Brown and Mrs. Morton Clifton, have gone on a visit to relatives in Council Bluff, and Kansas City. Rabbits are being caught and shipped by the barrels from here now. Christmas exercises at the schoolhouse Friday afternoon and at the M. E. church Sunday evening. All invited to attend.
