BACK FROM THE WAR ZONE

ALFRED THOMPSON ARRIVES HOME FROM EUROPEAN BATTLEFIELDS Looking the picture of health and carrying considerable more weight, Alfred Thompson, son of Delos Thompson, arrived in Rensselaer â– Friday evening, after an absence of six months, during which period he has been on the battlefields of France,' employed as an ambulance driver and where he witnessed all the horrors of the great world war. Mr. Thompson arrived in New York City on December 7 and from there went to Battle Creek, Mich., where he has been visiting with his mother and sister, accompanied by his father. Mr. Thompson has bad a wonderful experience and his many friends will be glad to learn of his safe arrival in this country, and anxious to have him recount his many experiences.
