Starke county is up and doing in the matter *of organizing Home Guards. A company of over seventy members has been formed at Knox, and action toward another company war taken at North Judson last week. The purpose of such organization .is to fit men of all ages to protect the home community in case of necessity. The Knox company has men as young at eighteen, quite a number of middle age, and a few well up in the seventies.
