RED CROSS NOTES Miss Ethel Perkins has been appointed campaign manager for the drive for membership to be made the week before Christmas in this county. She, Miss Ida Millikin and Mayor C. G. Spitler will attend a state meetign at Indianapolis Tuesday when the Sjpte-wide drive is to be organized. Our butterine sales have increased from 30 to 180 lbs. a week, that speaks for the quality of it, only 30c a pound. We also handle the nut butterine. JOHN EGER - \ Matinee .Musicale club will give a program at the Presbyterian church Tuesday evening of this week. Those attending are asked to bring canned fruit, or other articles of food or a silver offering. The fruit will be distributed to the poor of the city for Thanksgiving day. !i. - - Mrs. Frances Hopkins and Mrs. George Reed will entertain the Eastern Star ladies at the home of the former Tuesday afternoon.
