Record Breaking Farm And Stock Sale At Monon

The sale made by Bruce Brown and Guy Hornbeck last Tuesday, two miles east of Morion, was one of the largest ever held in the county. 300 head of cattle, 150 head of hogs and 15 head of horses and mules were disposed of at good prices throughout. Milk cows sold for as much as' SIOO and other cattle brought proportionate bids. The proceeds of the sale was about $25,000. There was a large crowd present and the bidding was spirited. Buyers were present from Frankfort, Rossville, Lafayette, Logansport and other places. Col. V. D. Clyne and his assistants disposed' of the large amount of property in,about five hours and were highly complimented on their work.
