Four Lake County Officials Are Arrested

State Senator J. J. Nedjl, a road contractor at Whiting, George Girard, road inspector, and Ray Seeley, engineer of Lake County, were arrested Wednesday on indictments charging graft. The men are alleged to have presented false claims for road work to the county commissioners. Dr. W. F. Houk of Crown Point, deputy coroner, was arrested on a charge of renting a room for gambling.
