Nashville, Tenn.—Lincoln Burkhardt. private in the First Tennessee infantry, after twice deserting, faces court-martial. He deserted several months ago, was captured and returnedto his command. He was given a light sentence in the guardhouse. Recently he deserted for the second time. He made his way into the hills with his uniform, gun and ammunition and de-’ fled his pursuers.
