Mason s Had Very Pleasant Time Here Thursday.
The district meeting of the Masonic order was held here Thursday afternoon and evening and proved , .tobe a most enjoyable occasion to the one hundred ana fiftylff attendance. The Francesville and Brook lodges were well represented and took charge of “the degree work during the afternoon. The manner in which they performed their work elicited commendation from Grand rTßgpector-HerberYA.^Gfaham, who was present. The degree work in the afternoon was performed by the visiting lodges and during the evening by the Rensselaer order. Each lodge furnished one candidate for degree work. In the evening a dinner was served to the visiting members at the Barnes restaurant. At midnight a lunch was served for all of the members" of the three orders. A report was made at the evening meeting by each of the three orders and all showed that the lodges of this district were progressing nicely and were very prosperous.
