A girl can he smart and pretty, too. but it’s taking an unfair advantage of the plain ones. There are moments in every girl’s life when she cares so dreadfully that she simply has to pretend not to. Never run after a street car or a woman. There will always be another along presently. (This, of course, does fiot pertain to “owl cars’* or exceptional women.)
