Judge William Darroch, of Kentland, was attending to legal matters here today. Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Gwin, Helen Gwin and Mrs. Frank Haskell drove over to Herscher, Hl., to visit with Felix Parker and family. Ramond Dixie, who enlisted in the navy in April, is home on a ten day furlough for a visit with relatives. He is now a member of the crew of the steamship Montana. This boat is being used for convoy work. Raymond’s time has been spent for the most part in New York, Philadelphia and Boston. The nearest he has been to the other side was when the Montana convoked 8,000 soldiers to within 300 .miles of Brest, France. Owing to the scarcity of coal in France, they returned home before completing the trip, the allied ships convoying the soldiers the remainder of the way. Raymond likes the life fine. He will have to be back in New York on the 27th of September. CASTOR IA For Ttrfunfu and Children In Um For Over 30 Years Atauyu tarns
