Miss Lura Halleck went to Bloomington today, where she will attend the university, she being a senior. Mrs. Regina Dunkle returned to HeFffiome at Uolumbus, Ohio, today. She came with her son, Leo, Tuesday evening. He will attend St. Joe. Mrs. Leo Mecklenburg went—to' Gary this morning to visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs. B. G. Oglesby. Her husband-will join her Saturday. Mrs. Harry Wade returned to her home at Hintonville, Ind., after a visit with her mother, Mrs. James Yeoman. Mrs. John McColly and the two younger children, of Hinsdale, Mont., are here for a visit with Mrs. McColly’s mother, Mrs. James Yeoman, and other relatives. Miss Hattie Kerns and Mrs. Golda Harley went to Indianapolis today. They will spend the day at the Fort visiting Mrs. Hurley’s husband, who is a member of Co. M. The St. Joseph college students are arriving on every train now and the indications are that the enrollment this year will be very large. Classes were started today. During the past several years he has been working in the east and for two or three years has been employed in an ammunition plant near Philadelphia. Billy could never forget Rensselaer and just had to come back once more. He will leave here for Aurora, 111., to see his brother, who recently secured a patent on a milk bottle holder, and if they can get sufficient financial backing they hope to realize a considerable sum on their project.
