Mrs. Cottingham went to Momence Monday to stay a while with her son and family. Cal Burroughs has been at Roselawn for the past week working in the blacksmith shop. Fred McKay, of Van Meter, lowa, is here visiting friends and relatives. Beulah Trump returned Wednesday from a week’s visit at Thayer. Mr. and Mrs. Speith and Mr. and Mrs. Ahlgrim, of Shelby, came Sunday evening by auto and attended the M. E. church. Carl Hoover and mother, of Kentland, are here visiting F.’R. Erwin’s. Chas. Manderville was her® last week visiting his mother. A. D. Washburn, of Kentland, is here on business this week. The Brouhard fanjily went to the county seat Sunday to bid the soldier boys goodbye. Mrs. Don Warren and Miss Edna Wood returned Tuesday from Rensselaer. Institute will be held here at the school house Saturday. All tqaehers and patrons requested to attend. Florence McKay and Milt McKay were both homd over Sunday from their respective places of employment. Bob Halleck returned Wednesday from a trip to Hammond.
