Relatives Surprise Mr. and Mrs. Gray on Wedding Anniversary
- X Relatives of Mr. and Mrs. Sylvesl ter Gray surprised them on Sunday, September 9, by coming in on them to spend the day in honor of the 27th anniversary of the marriage of Mr. and Mrs. Gray. The surprise was a little premature, as the 27th ■ anniversary of their marriage did not occur until September 11, but the relatives found it more convenient to attend on Sunday. Those attending were: J. L. Babcock and wife I and mother and son, of Parr; Mrs. I James Burns and children and Chas. Burns, formerly of Idaville; Mert Burns and family, of Goodland; Everett Burns and family, of Wolcott; Roy Burns and family, of Wolcott; Mr. and Mrs. R. Nicely, of Goodland; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Goss, of Rem- . ington; Wm. Mustard, of Goodland; t and-Mr; and Mrr. Charles Roth, of . near Bluffton, and Mr. and Mrs. James Jordan, of Bluffton. The letter from Alfred Thompson published ih the Evening Republican Wednesday will be reprinted in The Semi-Weekly Republican dated September 14th. The letter is pronounced by all to be the most interesting bit of news that has been received from the war zone.
