Proa, of St. Joseph’s College Calls Attention to Error.

September 5, 1917. Editor Republican, Rensselaer, Ind. My dear Sit: • My attention was called to an error in your paper in the Friday items. You stated there that the college entertained for retreat week the “Prussia Blood Fathers”. Now, in ordinary times an error like this might be ignored, but I must ask you to correct it to read “Predous Blood Fathers.” Although there are a few Prussian descent priests in the Socitey, I am sure that the remainder of us would not remain Prussia Blood Fathers very long if that were the name of the Society. The purpose of the Society is to precah the Gospel and especially to awaken sinners to a realization that the Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ was shed on the Cross for the redemption of men and that man should learn the value of the sacrifice made by Him. It is for this reason that the Society is called the Society of the Precious Blood. Kindly make the correction. Enclosed find some news. lam . Sincerely, IG. O. WAGNER, President.
