RECOVERS POWER OF SPEECH
Joseph Getzelowitz, dumb from birth, suddenly recovered his power of speech in Bellevue hospital, New York, while recovering from a fall. Several boys had been tormenting Getzelowitz In Henry street, near the home of his sister, where he HvcW. Trv chasing the boys, he stumbled and fell. A policeman picked him up and had kJrii sent to Bellevue. There the physician* examined the young Russian and Jcaml that his vocal chords had all the appearances of being normal and in their opinion simply lacked the will to talk.
