Michael J. Wagner made a trip to Chicago today. Walter Gilmore, of Lee, was in Rensselaer today. George Constant, of Indiana Harbor, was the guest over Sunday and Labor Day of Bertha Daniels., Carrie and Leonard Welsh went to DeMotte today for a visit with relatives. z Mary Gant, of Attica, who had been visiting friends here, left this morning for Kendallville, Ind. Clark SJiort, who has been spending the summer at Milford, 111., is here for a few days with friends. E. J. Gamster returned to Chicago this morning, having spent Sunday and Labor Day with his family here. Sheriff B. D. McColly returned Monday evening from Indianapolis, where he had been on business. The county council was in session 4his after Moon. This is the regular annual meeting. —Mr. and Mrs. Harry Zimmerman, of Michigan City, who have been visiting relatives here, went to Indianapolis this afternoon. Misses Hazel Lamson and Helen Murray went to Indianapolis today. Both will teach in the Indianapolis schools the coming term. Misses Mary and Eloise Luers rd 4 turned to their home in Pittsburg after a month’s visit with their grandmother, Mrs. William Meyers. Mrs. Vern Robinson returned to her home this morning from Highland, Ind., where she had been the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Blue. Hazel Carr, the driver of the express wagon, is taking a well deserved vacation, while Gravelous Hansson is acting in his place.
