Played In 360 Contests Before Competted to Drop Out on Account— — of Sprained Wrist. Derrill Pratt, the second baseman of the Browns, is the real holder of major league records for, continuous service. A check of‘games by a St. Louis statistician shows that whdn he was compelled to drop out on April 30 because of a sprained wrist, he missed his first game after playing 360 contests. Pratt began his long, stand with the Browns on September 2,1914, when he resumed play after a layoff due to an injury to his side. From that date to the close of the season he was in 30 games. In
1915 and in 1916 he played 158 games each year, then played the first 14 games of this season before compelled to drop out again. He missed two games in 1912 and two in 1913. »n 1911 he played every scheduled gams with the Montgomery team Of the Southern league.
