Lake County On Warpath After Rampaging Autos.

Lake county is getting tired of automobile joy riders, road hogs and such, and proposes to make it so derned hot for ’em they’ll pick some place else to do their tearing around. The authorities issued a warning addressed to “Truck parties (on a rampage), joy riders and road hogs.” It notified them policemen will patrol all roads in automobiles — none of your dinky motorcycles—and arrest every offender. The warning contained a request that peaceable motorists notify the authorities of all attempts at road hogging, joy riding, etc., with the number of the offender’s machine. *L. E.
