Chopped Off Finger.
Hammond, Ind. —George Rosek, a Whittag butcher, hacked off his thumb with a cleaver the other night. A friend was condoling with him. "I don’t see how you did it,” the friend said. “Well, it was just like this,” said Rosek, lifting up the cleaver, and laying his hand on the block. He let the cleaver fall, and accidentally chopped off two more fingers and a part of his hand.
