Begin Marketing New Crop.
The first 1917 wheat was brought to the Farmers Elevator yesterday. The quality is mighty good and the price received was $2.25. It was the property of Michael and Frank Kanne. The yield per acre was about 30 bushel*. Tone Kanne brought in the first load of oats. They were also fine quality. He received 61c per bushel and thinks they will average about 45 bushels to the acre. The oats were not very heavy and it was estimated that they would not average over 30 bushels.
