C. M. Sands, Wood Spitler, Louis and Fred Putts, Cope and Emil Hanley, and Max Kepner passed the physical examination which they recently took at Hammond, permitting them' to attend the second officers’ training school to be held at Fort Harrison, upon the completion of the first one. James Warner also took the examination, but was rejected on account of being under weight. Despite the fact that there is more garden truck in Rensselaer this year than ever before, vegetable raisers are complaining that they are having truck stolen and.their gardens damaged. Some gardens in the city ha*ve been visited several times within the past few days.
