FLORAL GARLAND FOR MIRROR

Artificial Flowers Looped Across Face of Glass Gives Very Cheerful and Attractive Effect. The decorative motif of floral garlands Is an old one and appears on many modern gilt-framed mirrors. On mirrors of the Empire period garlands of gilt flowers were often carried across the face of the glass. A clever idea as worked out by a smart interior decorator Is to use garlands of artificial flowers on mirrors. She loops these symmetrically across the face of the mirror, holding them in place invisibly atj the sides of the frame, and sometimes looping the center of the garland up to the top of the frame. The flowers in each garland are of several colors and the effect is very cheerful and attractive. There is a good idea in these garlands for floral decorations for as Informal summer wedding. Garlands of real flowers might be substituted for those of artificial flowers with really charming effect.
