Mr. and Mrs. James Poisel and family, of Gillam, visited Chas. Bussell and family Sunday. * Babcock & Hopkins are doing some repair work on the elevator at McCoysburg. Most of the working parts of the elevator will be replaced with new and a new engine will be installed. Mr. and Mrs. Gus Stephens and son, Frank, of Wingate, came up Sunday morning by automobile' to visit their son, Paul Stephens and family. Mr. Stephens’ health continues poor and it is probbale he will try some other climate this fall. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Cochran visited Sunday with M. Ringeisen and family at Rensselaer. Mr. and Mrs. John Robinson and children went to Monon Saturday evennig to-visit relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Rose are visiting the former’s relatives in Illinois for a few days. Edward ex.pects to be called to federal service any day. Mr. and Mrs. Morris Jacks and son visited Mr. and Mrs. Gaylord Parker Sunday. t , , , . . Simon Cook shipped a load of stock to Chicago Sunday evening, the first that has been loaded for shipment here in several months. Mr. arid Mrs. R. L. Bussell and family visited Geo. Parker’s Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Bussell returned from Hammond the Fourth, where he has been employed for the past several months. He returned here to assume charge of the elevator. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Miller and family visited Arthur Miller’s Sunday. Mrs. Mary Ann Robinson went to Rensselaer Saturday evening for a stay with her son, Dan Robinson and family.
