George Ferguson and Roy Blue were down from Wheatfield today. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Simpson and Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Payne start Sunday for a two weeks’ auto trip through the east. While away they will visit Niagara Falls. Mr. and Mrs. J. N. Leatherman and daughter, Helen, will drive to Culver Sunday. Miss Helen will visit a friend at that place for two weeks. John Southard, of Milroy township, who has been laid up with rheumatism for a long time, was able to be in Rensselaer today for the first time in several months. Mr. Southard’s daughter is now employed in the county treasurer’s office.
Miss Doda James went to Scottsburg, Ind. Chas. Morrell went to Lafayette on business. Mrs. W. R. Hyman went te Logansport. Miss Cecelia Sprigg, of Newland, spent the day in Rensselaer. Mr. and Mrs. Chas. B. Walker returned to Gifford, Ind. Wm. Gipton came from Chicago to visit Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Hitchings. Mrs. Charles May is confined to her home with a bad case of rheumatism. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Moleman and family are. spending the week end in Kokomo, Ind.
