Evening Republican, Volume 21, Number 146, Rensselaer, Jasper County, 7 July 1917 — Parasols for Summer. [ARTICLE]

Parasols for Summer.

The parasol, which has been somewhat neglected for several summers, is again high in favor. In its new form it Is delightfully fanciful, and both care and Ingenuity have been expended upon its fashioning, Those most practical are, of course, in the plain one-tone effects *in dark or medium coloring, and of these there is an ample supply in all the modish colorings. To be smart, one of these plain parasols must have an effective handle, and in recognition of this fact the manufacturers have been bringing out handles that are beautiful and exceedingly clever in design. The brighthued enamels are particularly effee-' tire, and they go well with the gay hues of sports hats and sports costumes. These gleaming enamels come in beautiful reds, greens, blues, pur* pies, yellows and rose tints.
