Mrs. Otto Jaeger of Montclair hooked a 12-foot shark with a rod and reel from the end of the fishing pier, according to a Palm Beach (Fla.) correspondent of the New York Evening Post Mrs. Jaeger’s shark weighed nearly eight hundred pounds and gave battle to her for two hours, during which time She refused assistance from anyone.
