She Is the youngest daughter of the late Queen Victoria, and the mother of the present Queen Victoria, consort of the king of Spain. Incidentally, Princess Henry .Is one of the richest of the British royalties. She has been governor of the Isle of Wight and also of Carisbrook castle, the historic fortress there, for 19 years, since the death of her husband, Prince Henry Maurice of Battenberg, who formerly held these posts.
