Foresters Lose Close Battle by Score of 6 to 5.

The local order of Foresters baseball team fell before St. Joseph’s college Sunday m a great contest. The final score was 6 to 5. Brunswick twirled for the winners, allowing nine safeties, while Feldhouse did the slabbing for the Foresters, granting seven hits. Poor coaching spoiled a brilliant opening for the Foresters in the final frame. With the bags loaded and none down, Gus Olson poled the leather to the trees in deep left, and Blue, who was on third, dashed for home with what should have been the tying run. The college gardener, however, caught the sphere as it was sailing over his shoulder and sent It back to the infield. Blue was forced to return to third. The side then popped out and the chance to stave off defeat went with the pops.
