, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Ran ton, Jr„ and family and Mrs. Ed Ranton, Sr„ of Rensselaer, were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Rose. Fred Markin was a Rensselaer goer Saturday. , „ Ernest Wentz, Frank Steffel, Samuel Sheetz, Geo. Crane and Wm. Timmons were in Laporte Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Francis Wentz spent a few days last week with his parents near Francesville. Wm. Potts, who has been sick, is slowly improving. , , Mr. and Mrs. Fred Markin and daughter called on Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Grant Sunday evening. Mrs. I. W. Wells and children, of Brook, are spending a few days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Potts. The firm of Kellner & Callahan now have five carloadc on track. Three of these cars are sewer, one is hay and the other is coal.
