Wade Jarrette is Rejected By the U. S. Navy.

Wade Jarrette, son of B. J. Jarrette, of this city, returned from Chicago, where he had gone to efilist in the United StateĀ® navy. Wade was rejected on account of a slight physical disability. This can be overcome by an operation and will be done, as he is very anxious to enter the service of his country. Wade reports that large numbers of men are enlisting in both the army and navy.
