Charles Halleck, accompanied by Miss Shedd, went to Valparaiso today, where Charles will take part in the district high school association discussion. Mrs. Neal Bott is now with her husband’s parents here, Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Bott. She is recovering very nicely from (her recent operation and is able to be out of doors. Mr. and Mrs. Orlen Grant, of Lafayette, went through Rensselaer today on the 10:36 a. m. train north, on their way to Hammond to attend the funeral of Mis. Grant’® father who died yesterday. Mre. M.
