Sister of Mrs. Boyd Porter Died at Francesville Wednesday.
Mrs. Raymond J. Ives,-of Francesville, a sister of Mrs. Boyd Porter, of this city, passed away Wednesday evening at 5 o’clock. The cause of her death was tuberculosis, from which she became sick eleven months ago, sine i which time her decline has beei gradually toward the inevitable, ant during the past week the end had been expected most any time. Mrs. Ives had keen hopeful always that time would restore her health, but it never came, arid when death came it took from the community of Francesville the life of one of its most pleasant soci?l women, one whose radiant nature was as sunshine and true as a friend among her associates. Her maiden name was Kathryn Fitzpatrick and she was born in Illinois 26 years ago.. She was a graduate of the Francesville high school and in May, 1912, was married to Dr. Raymond J. Ives. Besides the husband she leaves to mourn her departure a son, Raymond; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Fitzpatrick; brothers, John and William; and sister, Mrs. Boyd Porter, of Rensselaer. The funeral was held at the Catholic church this Friday morning at 9 o’clock, Rev. J. F. Kock officiating. Burial was made in the cemetery at Medaryville.
