Arrested For Wife Desertion.
Sheriff B. D. McColly received a telegram this morning from C. K. Guthrie, sheriff of Daviess county, asking him to arrest J. Warren Smith and hold him until his arrival. Sheriff McColly made the arrest and so wired the sheriff at Washington, who started for Renssealer at once. Mr. Smith, the accused man, has been employed for several months by the firm of Somers & Cornwell as a plumber.
