Fertilizer for Fern.
Ls your Boston fern becomes yellow and droopy looking and refuses to respond to your most loving efforts to cheer and rouse It, here Is a fertilizer that is said to give the most wonderful results. Use one tablespoonful of dibasic ammonium phosphate and one of potassium nitrate, dissolved in one gallon of water. Pour one pint of the solution on the roots of the fern once a week for three weeks. In the meantime give the plant a little plain water every other day. This will prove a valuable tonic and invariably produce new growth.
