Tryon, dated Tampa, Fla., March 13, says that he and his wife will leave that place March 20th for other parts of the state and that they expect to arrive home about April 1. It is reported that Dan Fairchild, of DeMotte, atempted suicide at Shelby, Thursday, by cutting his throat with a razor. Mr. Fairchild was said, 'to be waiting for a train at Shelby in a •barber shop and when the proprietor had his back turned took the razor from the shelf and slashed his throat several times. It is thought he will recover. No further details have been learned at this time.
