Mrs. Oscar Williamson returned to Conrad this morning after a visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hiram Day, of this city. Mrs. D. E. Bordwell returned to her home nehr Fair Oaks after a short visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Avis. Mr. and Mrs. John 0. Bertsch left this morning for where they will lay away their six-year-old son, John Allen, who died at the hospital here Saturday afternoon with pneumonia. Joe Reynolds, of Chicago, came Saturday for a short visit with his mother, Mrs. S. R. Nichols, and to see how extensively his brother, Earle’s residence was damaged by fire. Carl Hamacker, of Lowell, was in Rensselaer Saturday looking after legal business in connection with the estate of Mrs. Leach, his wifeys mother. Mrs. Frank Kisser, who had been the guest of her niece, Mrs. Joseph Kanne and other relatives, went to Gary Saturday, where she will spend a short visit before returning to her home at Lockport, 111.
