To Organize a County Development Association.

A meeting of the people of the county interested in community development has been called by the county agent to be held in the court house Saturday afternoon, March 17, at 1 o’clock. The meeting will be addressed by Mr. C. Henrv, of Purdue, who Will, discuss the. questionof forming a Gounty Development Association which will have for its purpose the union of the various forces of the county to aid any project which will "add to the prosperity of the people. Such associations have proved of .great value in other parts of the "Country. They have comprised the machinery for the planning and developing of policies of improvement which tiie smaller organizations such as commercial and fanners’ clubs alone have been unable to solve simply because they have not had enough co-operation in crystalizing the public sentiment in carrying out the larger ideas which they have de--1 veloped.
