Parent-Teacher Association Met Tuesday Evening.

The first meeting of the narentteacher association met Tuesday evening for the first time during the 1916-17 season, at the 'high school auditorium. A good crowd was on hand for .the meeting and much benefit was derived from the meeting. These meetings are - supposefeteftemonthly affairs during the . school years, but the committee got a late start this year. * A meeting will be held in both ,April and May. The speakers of the evening were Miss Ethel Perkins and Revs. Strecker and McDaniels, The purpose of this society is to bring.the patrons into closer touch with the school and to co-operate with the faculty an making the schools of greater benefit to the pupil. A committee was appointed which will select officers for the ensuing year ahd they will make their report at the meeting in. May.
