Roth Factory Begins Operations.

A large force of men have been very busy for the past week preparing the Marjorie Loughridge building for the A. Roth Co. Wednesday this work was completed and today a force of eight ladies w'e're put to work. Ten more will be added torn orrow and a number each succeeding day until the f orty-four machines now in place are in use. Considerable money has been expended to put this building in the very best possible condition, as Mr. Roth is very particular about the environment in which the women are to labor. Wash room and toilet, together with cloak room and many other conveniences have been provided. An ample number of electric lights have been installed and extra window's have been put in so that there will be proper light both night and day. It is understood that if Mr. Roth is satisfied with the class of labor obtainable here that he will arrange to use a s many as a hundred and fifty women here; The institution looks like a permanent, prosperous factory, the possibilities of which are very great. The .greatest concern of the -people of this community is to furnish a large number of high class women and the company will use every one of them at a splendid wage. -
