Father-In-Law of Local Girl Is Missing Ross Williams of LaHogue, 111., has employed the Gordon Van Tine detective agency of Davenport, lowa, to assist him in his search for his father age 67 years, , who left his home about three weeks ago for Dubuque, lowa, on business. Since he left his home at LaHogue he has not been heard from. The missing man is a father-in-law of Mrs. Ross Williams, who is a daughter of John O’Connor of this city. Mr. Williams is described as wearing a grey overcoat, blue serge suit, and a black hat. He is five feet seven inches tall, weighs about 145 and is 67 years of age.

The Cub special left for Pasadena, -■Cal., night. Jim Archer, veteran backstop, was among the missing. Archer is a holdout and President Weeghman has announced that all who did not sign contracts by Tuesday night could not make the trip at the expense of the club. In reporting the marriage of John Osborne, son of J. L. Osborne of Hanging Grove township, we gave the name of the bride as Miss Esther Stiller, daughter of Mr.- and Mrs. Clara Stiller, and it should have been Miss Edna Stiller.
